Former O'Hara Teacher Dies in Tulsa
For those of you who were here in 1990 and earlier, the Christian Brothers received the
following message in regard to Brother Norman McCarthy who taught senior theology
classes at Archbishop O’Hara High School:
Brother Norman McCarthy died Monday, October 13, around 8:30 p.m. in Tulsa, OK.
Please keep Brother Norman,
his sister and brother, the Brothers and administrators, faculty, and staff at
Bishop Kelley, and other friends and former students in your prayers.
May he rest in peace. Brother Norman McCarthy of the Bishop Kelley Community. He was 70 years old and in his 53rd year as a Christian Brother.
.
Norman is survived by a sister, Mrs. Kaye Diane Disch and a brother Mr. Fred McCarthy, both of Baltimore, and the community at Bishop Kelley High School, Tulsa.
