Patrice and Andi Tribute

This was published a while back: O’Hara softball players Patrice Jackson and Andi Davis are quickly becoming a thunder and lightning combination. Jackson, a power-hitting senior first baseman, stroked 11 home runs last season and is near the top of career home runs in Missouri. Davis, a freshman, is a quick utility player who has used slap hitting and speed to improve her batting average to above .700. One night, it was the thunder that prevailed. Jackson, who has verbally committed to San Diego State, drove in four runs in the Celtics’ 5-4 victory over Harrisonville. “It’s always been a good rivalry with O’Hara and Harrisonville,” O’Hara coach George Peter said. “Last year we beat them in the district finals 1-0. It’s always a close game.”
