Cross Country K C Metro

O'HARA'S MAX STORMS AMONG BEST IN METRO CROSS COUNTRY On Saturday, October 4th, at the Kansas City Metro Meet held at Raymore-Peculiar, the top cross country runners challenged each other for top honors. Present were the are's best competitors and are expected to vie for the All-State title later in the season. Maksim Korolev from Harrisonville, Kevin Colon from Lee's Summit West, and Max Storms came in in that order, but the times were very close. Korolev was timed at 15:36 for the 5K race. The other two runners came in just over 15:40, but he fourth place runner was a ways behind at 15:59. Max Storms is the defending 2-A State Champion but O'Hara High School has been moved up to the 3-A level for the present year. Harrisonville had been moved up a year ago. CIMG2051.JPG CIMG2055.JPG
