Archbishop O'Hara High School had the top score of 173.5 points in the Class 1 District 3 Wrestling competition and qualified ten wrestlers to continue onto State. Of the fourteen schools involved, Lawson was second with 166 points followed by Lathrop with 163.
Of the ten O'Hara wrestlers that qualified to go on to the next level, Maverick Griffin took first at 152 lbs on a pin and Eero Johnson came in second place at 245 lbs.
Five Celtics ended the day's competition with wins for third places. They were Ethan Ambrose (pin), Sylvester Newman (pin), Stephen Conway (pin), Spencer Mathews (5-2 decision), and Gerard Harker (6-4 decision).
The final three that qualified to continue with fourth places were Robert Martin, Nikhil Fenani, and Andres Garcia.
