FRESHMAN FOOTBALL TEAM WIN A SHUTOUT
The O'Hara freshman football team won a 16-0 game with Clinton on Tuesday, September 1st. In scoring 8 points in each half, Ronnie Sailor accounted for the Celtics' first six points and Derreck Davis ran in the two-point conversion. Then in the second half, the duo switched roles with Derreck Davis scoring on a 17 yard scamper with Ronnie Sailor completing the two-point conversion. Cardell Miller quarterbacked for the victors and Ben Janet caught some key passes. Braden Matthews had several break-away runs although did not score a TD and Aiden Nice recovered an important fumble for the Celtics.
