On January 29th, the Archbishop O'Hara High School girls varsity basketball team won 52-41 and the boys lost 73-57 in games with the Center Yellowjackets.
The Lady Celtics shot ahead in the first quarter with 15 points while the Yellowjackets were held to just one free throw! The trio of Alexa Williams, Cydnee Reese. and Amanda Hull combined for 35 points in the game.
In the boys' game, O'Hara fell behind by seven in the first quarter. and although the team outscored Center in both the second and fourth quarters, they fell well back in the third quarter. Kyle Baker, with four three-point shots among his scoring, led the scorers with 22 points. The team also got 11 from Nick Naudet, 10 from CJ Naudet, and 9 from John Burton.
