The Archbishop O'Hara High School girls basketball team handed the Saint Pius X Warriors a Conference loss 35-27 on January 8th. O'Hara led at halftime in the low scoring game 14-12 and slightly increased the lead to 23-19 by the time the fourth quarter started. Alexa Williams, who had three three-pointers in the game, led all scorers with 15 points. Cydnee Reese made double figures with 11 points.
In the boys game, O'Hara led at the half 34-30 and by a single point after the third quarter 41-40, but did not maintain the advantage the rest of the way, losing 55-51. Desmond McDaniel with 13 points and Kyle Baker with 11 were the Celtics' top scorers.
