JV track medalists at Platte County Invitational

Taking home the first place trophy at the Platte County JV Track Invitational on April 1st, the O'Hara girls took a number of gold medals. Three went to Kayla McGee who won the 100 meter hurdles, the long jump, and anchored the 4x1 relay team. The rest of the team were Paige Bush, Marli Bartlett, and Lauren Brown. McGee also won the silver medal in the 300 meter hurdles. In the shot put, Skyler Young took first. The 4x4 relay team won top honors with participants Paige Bush, Lauren Brown, Taylor Robinson, and Jayla Smith. Third place bronze medals went to Lauren Brown in the 200 meter dash, and to the team of Erin Scott, Kelli Bachkora, Olivia Wright, and Amanda Steele for their efforts in the 4x2 relay. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the boys competition, Jasper Greeson was a double winner taking the 200 and 400 meter dashes. The 4x1 relay team of Raphael Spencer, Brett Coatney, Jorge Belcher, and Lowell Thomas won gold medals. Raphael Spencer was the winner of the long jump and added a bronze medal for the 100 meter dash. The boys' team were third in the meet.
