After the Archbishop O'Hara High School girls basketball team won their game 47-37 against Warrensburg, the boys' squad followed with a 58-45 win on December 14th at O'Hara.
Cydnee Reese led the way with 12 points in the girls' game with Amanda Hull scoring 9 and Alexa Williams scoring 8.
The game was close the first half with O'Hara on top by one point 17-16 at the half, but after stretching the lead to five points at the end of the third quarter 29-25, the Lady Celtics went on an 11-0 run to open the final period, and the team coasted the remainder of the way.
In the boys' varsity game, the Celtics opened with 6-0 as Luke McCarville and Kyle Baker hit back-to-back treys. The team never trailed the rest of the way leading by ten at halftime.
O'Hara's top four scorers were Kyle Baker with 17, Isaac Uche with 13, Luke McCarville with 9 and Desmond McDaniel with 7.
Prior to the varsity games, the JV O'Hara boys had a 48-44 win in a relatively close encounter and the JV girls were winners also.
