Amanda Hull scored 25 points in O'Hara's first round basketball game in the Harrisonville Holiday Tournament on December 17th, defeating Butler 62-46. Alexa Williams had 15 and Cydnee Reese added 10. Nine of Williams' points were three-point shots.
Also in the first round Harrisonville was a winner with Sherwood 55-34 and Drexel won a close game with Nevada 54-49.
The team did not fare so well in their next game with Harrisonville and were six points short 40-34. The difference in the contest went back to the first quarter when the Celtics fell behind 11-3.
But the Wildcats were not able to outpoint the Celtics in any of the remaining quarters as O'Hara attempted to rally. O'Hara's top three scorers were Cydnee Reese and Amanda Hull with ten apiece and Alexa Williams with eight.
Brianna Kendrick was the only Harrisonville player in double figures; she had 13 points.
