For the first time this season the Archbishop O'Hara High School football team was held to less than 10 points as the Hogan Rams won the District game with the Celtics 42-7 on October 25th.
For one quarter, the contest was kept close as the Rams broke a scoreless tie with less than a minute remaining in the period with a 60 yard burst by KeWaun Riley for a 6-0 lead.
Both teams put points on the scoreboard in the second quarter. Quarterback Michael Briggs plunged for a Celtic TD and Zach Drake added the extra point.
The Rams however put the game out of reach with three touchdowns in the quarter.
KeWaun Riley ran for a 34 yard score after which Isaih Baylis added a one yarder and a 27 yard scamper.
The Rams tagged on one more touchdown in each of the second half quarters. The first was a 22 yard run by Isaih Baylis and the seond was on a 40 yard pass play from Isaih Baylis to KeWaun Riley .
For O'Hara's lone TD, Michael Briggs completed four passes in succession to Hondo Pearcy (7 yards), Cardell Miller (12 yards), Zach Drake (25 yards), and again to Hondo Pearcy (18 yards) setting up the short yardage for the actual scoring.
