STORMS AT STATE TRACK

O'Hara's Max Storms took fourth place in the long 3200 meter race on Saturday, May 30th in the Class 3 State competition in Jefferson City. His time was 9:30.76 with the winning time of 9:22.48 by a runner from Potosi. He finished the Class 3 State 1600 meter run in fifth place on the previous day. Timed at 4:17.12, he was edged out of fourth place by his Sectional rival Harrisonville's Maksim Korolev who had a time of 4:16.94. The top three places in this race were won by runners from Potosi and Westminster. Sixth place was taken by a West Plains runner whose time of 4:18.09, indicating how close the competition was at State level.
