Saint Elizabeth Grade School is Tops in O'Hara Math Contest

    With an accumulative score of 634, Saint Elizabeth won the April 26 mathematics contest sponsored by Archbishop O'Hara High School.
   The runner-up school was Nativity scoring 594 points followed by Presentation with a score of 564.
   Beka Leuschen and Jann Withrow were the top mathematicians for the eighth and seventh grades, both from Saint Elizabeth, and Gabriella Mesa was the top sixth grader from Holy Cross.
   Four other Saint Elizabeth scholars were among the top five in their grade levels: Daniel Pfaff, Lanie Mannebach, Sebastian Barrett, and Charlie DeLong.
   Three others from Nativity finished in the top five: Gabi Cook, Diana de la Cruz, and Drake Weber.
   Saint Thomas More had two eighth graders in the top five: Maguire Radosevic and Jake Lynn.
   The remaining top five positions were earned by Caden Gabel from Presentation, Matthew Strobl from Saint Regis, and Kaitlin Jones from Holy Cross.
