On April 29th, led by Tanner Bainbridge who earned All-District Honors, the Archbishop O'Hara High School golf team qualified to go from Missouri Class 2 District 7 to Sectionals scheduled for May 6th.
Barstow (323), Summit Christian (350), and Butler (351) had lower scores than the Celtics who had 372 but all four teams advanced from a field of ten schools.
Individually Tanner Bainbridge tied for 10th place, both Sam Bryant and Brett Kies tied each other for 18th place, Amere Taylor took 20th place, and Trey Bainbridge landed in 28th place.
O'Hara had a better team score than Knob Noster, Warsaw, Lexington, Archie, Lafayette, and Saint Paul. The Celtics' coach is Kyle Sellnow.
