O'Hara Baseball Team Loses Two Conference Games by a Total of Three Runs

On April 3rd, the Archbishop O'Hara High School Celtics baseball team lost a close 4-3 game with the Saint Pius X Warriors.
O'Hara scored first pushing across a run in the first inning without the benefit of a hit.  Zach Drake drew a walk, took second on an error on an attempted pickoff play, went to third on a wild pitch, and went home on a sacrifice fly by Eric Sullentrup.
O'Hara's second run was also scored by Zach Drake who singled and eventually scored on an error in the third inning.
Brock Hughes walked in the sixth inning and singles by Ryan Adams and Jordan Wilcoxson brought him home.
The Warriors got two runs in the second inning when they loaded the bases and brought two runners home.  They got two more in the fourth inning from two back-to-back doubles and a single.
Addison Schmitt pitched the entire game for the Celtics and had to take the loss.

The Warrensburg Tigers baseball team outscored the Celtics 9-7 in a slugfest on April 2nd in which the pitching for both teams had a difficult time.  Both games were West Central Conference games.
